PLN become buyer Gas from LNG Storage Terminal

PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara decided only as a buyer of gas from the terminal liquid natural gas storage. Companies that country will not be involved in the construction of terminal storage of liquefied natural gas or LNG that will be built in the Gulf of Jakarta and Medan.
Director General of Oil and Natural Gas Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Evita Legowo mention it, Tuesday (5/1/10), when found in the Office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta.
Originally a consortium that consists of PLN, PT Pertamina and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara intend to build LNG terminals and storage of purchased gas produced. Later PLN decided only as a purchaser of gas in the consortium and does

“Pertamina and PGN have agreed. The government itself has approved because it’s a business to business agreements,” he said. Thus, PLN is still in the consortium, but merely acts as a buyer of gas supplied from the storage terminal.
